The new urban quarter is the largest residential construction project in the city of Neu-Ulm and part of the integrated railroad project Neu-Ulm 21. The planning and realization comprises 450 residential units, 900 underground parking spaces, a commercial unit and the public access. Since May 2020, albrings + müller ag has been responsible for the realization by means of a direct Client representation mandate and within the scope of construction supervision.
This was preceded by the insolvency of the local project developer in December 2019. The completed three-story underground parking garage with an area of 40,000 sqm could be fully reintegrated into the project in its shell cubature. The above-ground, comb-like building contour here extends from the city entrance at the traffic circle along Von-Hühnefeld-Strasse to the west.
